Unfortunately, I seem to have hit a wall with a good chunk of my RPing, so what I'm doing is cutting back rather significantly and hoping it passes in a few weeks, after I've had a chance to work on a few other things.

SO- this means I'll be hiatusing Fred here entirely, and probably for the whole month of January. She'll be pulled out of the City, which I shall do shortly in a post! A copy of her updated notes will go to Dawn, everything else goes to Wes, and that computer program she was working on is still in full effect. The AI team should have access to all of it.

Sylar is going to stay in the City for now, because I hate leaving in the middle of plot tension. Once it's wrapped up, he'll probably also go on hiatus. I'll try to keep him active, but I think it's best to consider that he's on a Slowatus, or whatever the kids are calling it these days.

Apologies for the fail, but hopefully I'll be doing much better when I get back to full speed!

Hey guys. I'm really really sorry to do this. Shortly after I applied (the day after I was accepted, in fact), a bunch of personal things fell apart and unforeseen events have put me in a really bad place right now. I tried to hold on in the hope of things lightening as a little time passed, but I feel that it's better to drop before I actually introduce myself than to struggle with keeping activity for I don't know how long with an end result of likely having to drop anyway.

I deeply apologize and I truly hope that I can reapply here when time and life permits. Sorry especially to the canon-mates. I hope to bring Noah back if I am able to join again.

My name is Sarah, or Greed if you prefer, and I come to you, a humble newbie, bearing my very first character here at Poly: Commander Ariel Shepard from Mass Effect. Ariel's pretty much an all-around nice lady: sociable, friendly, and more than willing to help out just about anyone who asks. Don't worry, though! All that sweetness and fluff is balanced out with a bit of a temper, not to mention incredible skills with a shotgun.

I hate when holidays just unexpectedly kind of sweep you up and dump you, exhausted, at the end. At least it's all mostly over now! Hope everyone's holiday had at least something good.

Things to catch up on! I'm working on tags from Lorne, Priestly and Beckett presently so if I have not gotten to you by the end of tomorrow, let me know! Sometimes I screw up tags in my inbox and all that, I'm a very unreliable fool that way.

Lorne has POSTED about sign ups for auditions and people interested in crew. I hate to ask you all to respond again, but in order to have a solid idea of who's looking to participate it would be very helpful if you would.

Again if you want your character to participate but are unsure of how to boot them into it, let me know because Lorne is a fairly pushy little bastard and once he finds out a person has talent he's likely to stop at nothing to get them to use it.

He can always use more cast, more crew and more whatever your character does, so don't hesitate to get somebody involved, even if it seems like the spaces are all filled!

Just wanted to drop in to say that I'm kinda backish - for the moment. It will take me a while to catch myself up on all the goings-on in game and I will be backtagging for daaaaays if I do wind up tagging everything I want to.

So here's the deal.

Firstly, tell me if there's anything that Deb (police_pinup), Wilson (dr_conscience) or Todd (mumbled_truth) should be paying attention to. Even if you just want them to tag your character, let me know. I have a lot to sift through still from my slowatus-turned-mostly-hiatus. If I have threads already going, I will get to them. Pinky swear. For realz. Oh, and they did get their friends presents. I'll figure out what, probably.

Also, I have to throw it out there that I will be gone, out of town and, good chance, completely absent from Dec 31 - Jan 3.

I figure it's better to just drop already than to idle out.  It's been nearly a year with this guy and even though I've had a lot of good times I ran out of drive to play him, well, a while ago, really.

Okay, so it's not exactly huge or grand or any other synonyms referring to something and being large and awesome, but it is canon. See, Brennan is an Elemental of Electricity. As such, his power is one of the most unstable in his world. It's strong, able to wipe out an entire city's power grid, but when it fluxes, it's highly unpredictable and very dangerous, that is until his brain catches up with the growing mutation and he's able to control it again.

That means that, starting Tuesday and lasting for a week, there is a very powerful Electrical Elemental in your City, whose powers are very closely linked to his emotions, and whose emotions are usually running on high. Couple that with the fact that he's recently made a deal with the deities that resulted in him giving up coffee for two weeks (he usually spends about 50 bucks a week on it alone), he's got a really short fuse.

What does that mean for your characters? Well, have they ever been struck by lightning? Ever wanted them to be? Three lucky citizens will have the chance. I will say this: It's up to you whether they're just injured or actually killed by the blast. Remember, though, this isn't a curse, so if they die, they will be City!Dead and have all the trappings afforded by that condition.

Poor guy's so scared of planes too. Had to pack his suitcase for him!

About 12 days ago, my computer's power supply part went out right when two back to back winter storms hit. Ton of snow got dumped and I couldn't get to another computer.

Anyway, everything's groovy now. Please pretend Luke, Barn and HWK got yanked out of the City during that time and just came back.

Okay, so like a lot of people of late I've been pretty busy and a little stressed out, so sorry for being spodratic in posts and tags. I am slowly going to get back to things over the next couple of days, in between celebrations of course. For now, I hope you can be patient if I am still a bit spacy.
 
However things have got a little more complicated for me due to my timezone Many know I've already had some issues due to this and have often messed up my sleep pattern to try and keep track of things. Well, mother dearest has seemingly had enough of that, and is now making sure my dad  turns off the wireless when he comes to bed every night, which is usually between 11pm and midnight GMT, so I can't get internet from my laptop in my room. Needless to say I will at times try to sneak it back on once they're asleep but I'm being careful since I fear the next step will be my mum ripping the cable out of the wall with her bare hands if she catches me.

This restriction may waver over time, but meanwhile, I'm sorry if I'm around to catch some people. If needed I'm willing to talk out a mutual time for interactions. Thanks guys, and Merry Christmas.~ (Affects the usual characters - Risa, Ren, Hikari and Tsubaki.)
